Daily Acts is a personal reflection app for choosing a daily stance, setting meaningful acts, and noticing your rhythm over time. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
Information We Collect
- Account information. If you create or sign in to an account, we may process your email address and authentication identifiers through our authentication provider.
- Reflection and practice content. The app may store moods, notes, stance choices, Daily Acts, completion status, streaks, and related progress information. Mood entries can sync to your account so they are available across devices.
- Photos and captions. Daily photos are optional and stored on your device. If you sign in and use Premium backup, daily photo memories may also be backed up to a private, per-user Supabase Storage bucket so they can be restored across devices.
- Purchases and subscriptions. Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat may process subscription purchases, depending on your platform. We receive entitlement and subscription status, not your full payment card number.
- Device permissions. If you allow them, Daily Acts may use notifications, camera access, photo library access, and calendar access. Calendar access is used to understand schedule density; raw event details are not shown in the product surface.
- Support messages. If you contact support, we receive the email address and contents of your message so we can respond.
How We Use Information
- Provide and maintain the app experience.
- Sync eligible account data and restore it on your devices.
- Generate personal reflection, progress, and rhythm insights inside the app.
- Manage subscriptions, entitlements, account access, and support requests.
- Send notifications only when you enable them.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your data for third-party advertising. We use service providers only as needed to run the app, including authentication and database hosting, payment and subscription processing, device-platform services, and support email. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices.
Storage, Backup, and Security
Some Daily Acts information is stored locally on your device. If you sign in and use Premium backup, eligible records and daily photo memories may be stored under your account in Supabase. Photo files use a private per-user bucket protected by authentication and storage access policies; cloud data is not end-to-end encrypted. Authentication tokens are stored using secure device storage where available. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we use reasonable safeguards appropriate for a small personal reflection app.
Your Choices
- You can use optional permissions only if you choose to grant them, and you can revoke them in your device settings.
- You can turn notifications off in the app or in device settings.
- You can delete your account in the app or submit a verified deletion request using our Account Deletion page.
Data Retention
We keep account information and synced app data for as long as needed to provide the service, unless you delete your account or ask us to delete it. Deleting an account removes its authentication record and associated synced Daily Acts data. Limited transaction, security, or legal records may be retained where required. Local data remains on your device until you remove it, delete the app, or clear it in the app.
Children
Daily Acts is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Health and Safety
Daily Acts is for personal reflection and is not a medical device, therapy service, crisis service, or substitute for professional mental health care. If you are in danger or need urgent help, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
